Hey Guys, Today I'm going to share my favorite blushes. I usually switch up my blushes each season depending on my skin tone at that time. I also pick blushes based off of the color scheme of the rest of my makeup for that day. Even though I switch them up, I always have favorites that I reach for the most. Below are the blushes that I have been reaching for the most lately. I will link all of the blushes on their names as well as at the bottom of the post. Keep reading to hear more about them and to see swatches of each!
This blushed is a mix of coral, gold, and pink. I got it in a BoxyCharm box years ago. It looks like medium pink on my cheeks and seems more cool toned on me. These baked blushes leave such a pretty glow to your cheeks.
I recently pinked up this backed blushes as well. Its described as a mix of soft peach, bronze, and warm pink. It performs very similar to Tropic Hues shade. It gives such a beautiful glow but has more of a warm peachy glow. Both blushes are also very pigmented.
This blush is considered a mauve plum. I do agree it gives more of a velvet/satin finish and isn't overly matte or shimmery. It gives a little glow but nothing like the Laura Geller Blushes. I really like the formula and plan on picking up more.
The Cheek to Chic blushes have a shimmer in the middle and a matte on the outer option of the blush. Pillow Talk is a two tone pink and champagne. I think that it is a nice subtle everyday blush for fair to light skin tones. You can read my full review of this blush HERE.
This blush is part of a collaboration with Youtuber and Author Samantha March. It has a split pan with a shimmery warm deep rose on one side and matte pink nude on the other. Its super pigmented and I love that you can use both colors together or separately. The shimmer shade gives such a beautiful glow to the cheeks.
I received this in one of my FabFitFun boxes. It is a coral gold shimmer that is just so pretty! I wear this when I am going for a more warm toned look. It also looks great on my tan skin in the summer. A similar blush would be Hot Mama by The Balm.
This blush is so old but still one of my favorites. Its a shimmer rose shade and gives a nice flushed look to the cheeks. Its also a more warm shade but with less shimmer than the Phase Zero Blush. I'm pretty sure that this blush is discontinued. A very similar blush would be the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush in Rose Champagne.
Here are swatches of each of the blushes:
L-R: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk, Laura Geller Tropic Hues, Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit, Ofra Cosmetics Chic Lit, Patrick Ta She's Seductive, Borghese Eclissare Blush Stunner, and Phase Zero Blusher in Making Moves
As you can tell I prefer more shimmery blushes that give your cheeks a nice glow. Hopefully you can find a blush that you love from my favorites!
