Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Tartelette Juicy Palette. Its been quite a while since I purchased a palette or a bunch of makeup in general. I have always been a fan of Tarte shadows and their Tartelette palettes especially.  I have owned all of them at one point or another. This palette isn't brand new but it is their newest one that they have launched. I decided to pick it up because the colors seem like a good range of neutrals that you could use on a daily basis. Keep reading to hear more about this palette, my thoughts on it, and swatches.

On to my thoughts:
At first glance the packaging is very pretty and a similar quality of the other Tartlette palettes just larger. The smaller Tartelettes may be a little bit more heavy duty. The actual shadows seem to be larger and not as powdery as the others. They do have the same sweet scent to them which I always liked. In terms of the quality of the shadows the are nice but again not quite the same formulas as the smaller Tartlette palettes. Not as creamy but also not as much fall out. That being said some shades were more pigmented than others and the consistency wasn't the same across the board. Some shimmers were creamier and more pigmented, others were pigmented but you need to go over it a couple times to get a better pigmentation. The mattes were more consistent than the shimmers. One shimmer shade Dawn applies kind of chunky but it is my favorite color in the palette. Another shimmer shade Wildflower needs to be built up to get a good pigmentation but it really is super pretty. I'm not a huge fan of pink shadows so a few shades in the first row didn't particularly interest me. However, I do like and will wear a majority of the shades in the palette. I do wish there were more shimmer shades though. Overall, I think that the original Tartelette palettes are better but I still think that this palette is nice.  That being said, I am still glad that I bought it. The shades all blend really nice and it is a great neutral palette for everyday.
