Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus for March! For those of you unfamiliar with Ipsy Glam Bag, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 5 deluxe/sample sized products each month. The subscription is $12.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every month called Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. This box is $25.00 a month and includes 5 FULL SIZED products. You are able to choose 3 of the products in your box and Ipsy chooses 2 for you. Ipsy's picks are based of your beauty quiz/product reviews. They recently discontinued Ipsy Glam Bag Ultimate and replaced it with a quarterly upgrade called Glam Bag X. This box is $50.00 a quarter and includes 8 FULL SIZED products from higher end brands. I am currently only subscribed to Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. All three subscriptions come with a themed makeup bag each month (different sizes per subscription type). For Glam Bag Plus, you get your products in a drawstring bag which is also themed. For Glam Bag you are able to pick two items in your bag. You are also able to skip a month whenever you feel like it which is a huge bonus offering. The theme for this month's bag is "Stronger Together" in regards to Women's History Month. Keep reading to see what I got in my bag this month!
Ipsy Glam Bag Plus March 2021 "Stronger Together"
This was the first item that I chose for my bag. Even though it was a warm undertone I knew that the shade still work. This is a pretty decent concealer. It isn't my favorite but it does have good coverage. Its a little more dry/matte than I now prefer but I was happy to give it a try.
This was the first item that Ipsy chose for me. Even thought I love ABH products I do not use liquid highlighters. I feel like they always take off the product underneath them when I try to apply. I will be saving this for a giveaway.
This is the second item that Ipsy chose for me. I always love getting mascaras to try out. I do need to start trying some new ones since my pile is building up pretty fast.
This was the second item that I chose for my bag. The color is wrong but they didn't offer another color from what I remember. This is meant for Ashy Blondes. I was afraid it was going to make my brows look gray. It honestly didn't make them look as light as I thought. I still would prefer an Ash Brown or Soft Brown shade but this one worked fine color wise. I really like the little spoolie it makes application so much more precise.
IPSY PROMOTIONS
Ipsy offers discounts and cash back on brands/products featured in each month's glam bag. You are able to purchase full sized products that are sampled/or featured in the Glam Bag that month. The products are discounted from normal price and you can get cash bag on the purchase. They also offer "Ipsy Offers"that are discounted beauty bundles from different brands. Lastly, you are allowed to add "Add Ons" to your Glam Bag Plus which are other items featured that month that are not part of your personal box. These items are heavily discounted. Lastly, they offer "Mystery Bags".
Overall, this wasn't the most exciting bag with the highest value but I will use most of the products in this bag. I hope that next month's bag is more exciting to me.
