Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus for August! For those of you unfamiliar with Ipsy Glam Bag, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 5 deluxe/sample sized products each month. The subscription is $12.00 a month and usually has a theme. They also offer an upgraded box every month called Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. This box is $25.00 a month and includes 5 FULL SIZED products. They recently added new features to Glam Bag Plus. You are now able to choose 3 of the products in your box and Ipsy chooses 2 for you. Ipsy's picks are based of your beauty quiz/product reviews. They also offer another box called Ipsy Glam Bag Ultimate. This box is $50.00 a month and includes 8 FULL SIZED products and 4 deluxe/sample sized products. I am currently only subscribed to Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. The Glam Bag and Glam Bag Ultimate subscriptions come with a makeup bag (different sizes per subscription type). For Glam Bag Plus, you now get your products in a drawstring bag instead of a themed bag like the other two subscription levels. For Glam Bag you are able to pick two items in your bag. With Glam Bag Ultimate you are able to pick one. You are also able to skip a month whenever you feel like it which is a huge bonus offering. I was so excited about the new features of Glam Bag Plus that started this month. Keep reading to see what I got in my box!

This was the first item that Ipsy picked for me. I was really excited to see shadow sticks as I have been loving this type of product lately. I was also happy that both colors are neutral and ones that I would normally gravitate towards. I was really happy that Ipsy was spot on with their product pick. Both eyeshadow and color choice. These shadows are really nice! They are creamy and really pigmented! I can't wait to use them more.

This was the second item that Ipsy chose for me. Again, I was very happy with their pick. Not only am I a huge fan of liquid lipsticks but I also really like the color! I was pumped to see that this product was featured in this month's bag. I didn't realized how many colors were going to be featured. I wanted a different shade but after trying this one I do really like it. The formula is so creamy and pigmented and amazing overall. They offered handful of other shades as part of Add Ons and I picked a second one up. I hope they feature more colors in Add Ons next month so I can get another shade!

This was my second choice item that I picked. I love brow products and use clear brow gel every time that I do my brows. I don't own any wands this small so I was happy that I was able to try it out. I think this is a great brow gel especially for people with thinner brows.
This was my third choice item that I picked for my bag. I have been so impressed by the Ciate London brand that I decided to try this setting power as well. I was hoping that it smelled like watermelons but it does not. It does however have a cool feeling when you touch it. It also has a slight shimmer to it. When you apply it, you can definitely see a brightening affect without it being super shimmery on the skin. So far I like this as well!

Add Ons:
I decided to purchase 2 add ons this month.
I chose this because they were only $12 or $13 each and I liked the color when I saw swatches of it before. I haven't tried it yet but I love the formula after trying the shade that I got in my GBP. I think this will be a more everyday color for me.

I picked up a sample of this because I like trying brightening products for my undereyes. This sample is super small but it was only $2 or $3. It definitely has a shimmer to it which reflects the light. I will need to use it more to decide if I like it or not.
Ipsy offers discounts and cash back on brands/products featured in each month's glam bag. You are able to purchase full sized products that are sampled/or featured in the Glam Bag that month. The products are discounted from normal price and you can get cash bag on the purchase. They also offer "Ipsy Offers"that are discounted beauty bundles from different brands. Lastly, you are allowed to add "Add Ons" to your Glam Bag Plus which are other items featured that month that are not part of your personal box. These items are heavily discounted. Lastly, they offer "Mystery Bags".
Overall, I am SO HAPPY that Ipsy decided to allow us to chose 3 items in our bag each month. It allows us to customize the perfect bag each month. They also give 3-4 choices for each pick which I like. These changes will allow customers to be happier with their bags each month. I think Ipsy has done a phenomenal job at listening to what their customers want and have then given it to them. I think this is my favorite Glam Bag Plus so far and can't rave enough about this subscription. I am so beyond excited to see the choice options for next month!
