Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to review the infamous Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick and liner! I have wanted to try Charlotte Tilbury products for quite a while but never took the plunge because of their price. I don't buy luxury brands often but I decided to treat myself for my birthday. Keep reading to hear about these products and what I thought of each!
Charlotte Tilbury Luscious Lip Slick- Pillow Talk $50.40
This set includes a full size Matte Revolution Lipstick and Lip Cheat Lip Liner in the original shade Pillow Talk. The Pillow Talk shade is considered a nude pink.
They also have a medium and deeper version of Pillow Talk as well that also come in sets. Originally, I was going to purchase these products on the Sephora site. I decided to check out the Charlotte Tilbury site to see if they had any kind of discounts since Sephora did not. That is when I found this lip kit that was $56.00 and on sale for $50.40. Buying each product separately would have been $56.00 as well. I was also able to sign up for their email and get and additional 10% off my order.
Here is a little bit of info about these products from the Charlotte Tilbury website:
On to my thoughts:
As mentioned, I have wanted to try this brand and these products for a while. I am not huge into pink lip products in general so I was a bit hesitant. After doing some research and looking up swatches I decided to make the purchase. I am so happy that I did! The packaging is so luxurious and the products are beautiful. I have very pigmented lips so a lot of pinks and peachy/nudes look SO bright on me. That was not the case for these two products. Pillow Talk is the perfect my lips but better shade on me. It's a great everyday color. It is only a shade or two deeper from my lips and isn't too pink or too peach or too brown. It's definitely the perfect nude-pink for me. The matte lipstick is creamy but not too creamy. It doesn't feel dry either. I love the unique shape of the lipstick and it has just the right amount of pigmentation. The lip liner is creamy and pigmented and glides on the lips without any tugging or pulling. Even though this is more than I would normally spend on lip products I am very happy with my purchase. The products are perfect and they are colors I can and will wear all the time. I also purchased a second Lip Cheat Liner in Iconic Nude and that is also a great staple lip liner to have. Overall, I highly recommend these Charlotte Tilbury Lip products!
If you don't want to committ to the full sizes a travel sized kit is available on both the Charlotte Tilbury site and Sephora site. You can check it out below.
