Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Fenty Beauty Lil' Bronze Duo. I picked this up a while back during a sale and realized I never got around to reviewing it. I really love that Fenty Beauty offers a bunch of little mini deluxe size sets. It allows you to try out these products before committing to the full size ones. Also, if you are like me, you have so much makeup that you don't necessarily need the full sized product. I previously reviewed another mini Fenty set called the Bomb Baby Mini Lip and Face set which you can check out HERE. Keep reading to hear what I thought about the Lil' Bronze Duo!
Here is what is said about this set on the Sephora site:
"Get an instant, sun-soaked glow on the fly with these travel-size bronze essentials. Warm up your glow with Sun Stalk’r bronzer in Shady Biz (medium) or Caramel Cutie (tan to deep). Add a little shimmer with Match Stick Shimmer Skinstick in Sinamon."
This set comes in two color selections:
Shady Biz & Sinamon:
- Mini Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer in Shady Biz (warm tone for light skin)
- Mini Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Sinamon
OR
Caramel Cutie & Sinamon:
- Mini Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer in Caramel Cutie (neutral tone for tan to deep skin)
- Mini Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Sinamon
Both products are cruelty free.

As mentioned above, there are 2 color sets. One with a lighter bronzer for light skin tones and another with a darker bronzer for tan to deep skin tones. I chose the lighter since I purchased this back in the spring. I like that this bronzer is matte but I had a hard time using this all over my face as the compact is pretty small and I use a big brush when applying bronzer. I think this color specifically would work best with fair/light skin tones. However, I prefer a bit darker bronzer even in the dead of winter. I have actually been using it as shadow instead as a transition shade. Based off of trying this shade, I would definitely get a darker shade but the formula itself is nice.
This stick highlighter shade came in both color sets available. This shade is considered a cinnamon bronze. It def pulls coppery/cinnamon on me. I have a tough time applying cream highlighters to my face as I feel like I rub off my makeup that is already on my face. Maybe I should have warmed it up on my fingers? Either way, I did not like this for my face. Aside from having a hard time applying it, I found it to be to dark as a highlighter for my light skin tone. It may work better in the summer now that I have a decent tan going on. I have also been using this product as an eyeshadow and think it's really pretty that way!

Overall, this set did not work out for me as intended but I did find other ways to use the products. I still think it's a great idea to try deluxe sample sized products before committing to full sized ones.Have you tried any of these deluxe sized Fenty Beauty sets? Let me know in the comments below!
