Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the ColourPop x NKLA collab! Each holiday season ColourPop partners with Best Friends Animal Society in their No Kill LA (NKLA) effort to eliminate all no kill animal shelters in LA. A new collection is created each year and all net profits go to the organization to help SAVE THEM ALL! This is their 4th year doing this collaboration. Check out the 2018 set below!
These shadows can be purchased as a bundle or individually for $5.00 each.
Cattitude- pale champagne gold with gold and silver glitter
Puppuccino- bright copper with pink glitter
Bow Wow- pastel pinky peach with a gold sheen
Aristocat- deep warm plumb brown

Overall, I am always willing to by things that give back or help out a cause especially when it involves animals. It's my weakness. Not necessarily a bad thing...As far as the collection goes I do like that they kept it neutral but I wish they would create another type of product for these NKLA collabs such as a palette or something. As mentioned, this is their 4th year doing this collab with NKLA and they have created super shock shadows each year. Last year they also created a lip bundle as well which was different which I liked. In terms of the shadows, I really am not a huge fan of the glittery shadows. I prefer the satins or metallics. 3 of the 4 of these have glitter. Aristocat is the only color I haven't used on my eyes and its mainly because I use the super shock shadows as all over lid colors and use my finger to apply them. I don't think they work particularly well with a brush in the crease or lash line. I will give it a try though. It's a nice warm dark brown I just don't wear dark colors often. The other 3 shadows work well on the lid but my favorite is Cattitude. I think if you are a fan of neutrals or the cause then you will probably enjoy this bundle.
