Today I'm going to share my thoughts on three of the new ColourPop Matte Lux Lipsticks. I really loved the formula of their Creme Lux Lipsticks (review HERE) so I decided to pick up a few of the new formula to test out. Keep reading to see the colors that I picked up and to hear my thoughts on each!

ColourPop Matte Lux Lipstick in Third Eye $7.00
This shade is considered a mid-tone pinky beige. This color pulls more light brown on me which I prefer. I like to pair it with a nude lip liner as I prefer brown toned nudes than pinky nudes. This is my favorite color of the three that I picked up.
ColourPop Matte Lux Lipstick in Little League $7.00
This shade is considered a cool mauve. On me, this lipstick shows up more pink mauve than a purple-mauve. I prefer the later. Dopey is my all time favorite mauve so I was hoping for it to be similar to that. It's pretty but not a color I would wear all the time.
ColourPop Matte Lux Lipstick in Money Moves $7.00
This shade is considered a muted terracotta. This arrived broken but ColourPop sent me a replacement. This is a pretty color but I wish it was just a little less red and more brown.

After seeing lip and arm swatches I feel like all of these shades look different on me. That being said, these lipsticks are super creamy and pigmented. They are definitely more matte formula wise compared to the creme Lux Lipsticks. While I do prefer the packaging on the Lux Lipsticks I still haven't decided if I like them better than the Lippie Stix mainly because I have smaller lips. I feel like the other shape/size is easier to apply more precisely than these. My favorite ColourPop lip formula overall is their Ultra Satin Lips. I reach for those lipsticks more than any other lipsticks that I own. I picked up some other Creme Lux Lipsticks and the Give It To Me Straight palette so more reviews are coming soon!
