Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on another Tarte palette. This time around its the Tarte Shape Your Money Maker palette. If you haven't noticed... I LOVE palettes. I really enjoy trying out different ones and they are probably the most reviewed makeup product on my blog. It seems like many other people love palettes as well. However, I want to know what YOU would like to see on my blog. Whether it be more makeup reviews, fashion posts, or tutorials; just let me know in the comments below. In the meantime, check out my thoughts on this palette!
"An 8-shade eye & cheek palette with
removable magnetic pans & the same shaping abilities as your favorite shape
tape complexion formulas. Instantly
shapes & defines your face with longwearing Amazonian clay-enriched
formulas specifically chosen to create a more lifted, youthful look. Three
silky matte eyeshadows sculpt tired, hooded eyes while three shimmery
eyeshadows help you look more awake. A universal contouring bronzer & a
pearly face highlighter play with light & shadow to chisel, illuminate
& rejuvenate your features."
This palette includes:
- Amazonian clay: nature’s most perfect ingredient for better, longer, truer wear
- mineral pigments: soothe & soften skin
- vanilla: a natural fragrance with rich antioxidant & anti-aging properties
Here are close ups of the palette:

- cut (glittery champagne shadow)
- snatched (copper luster shadow)
- tone up (cool bronze luster shadow)
- trainer (beige matte shadow)
- cardio (chestnut matte shadow)
- reps (warm brown matte shadow)
- flex (rose gold highlight)
- slim (contour)

On to my thoughts:
This is a great basic everyday palette. It's great for people that want to create basic looks but also want the option to be able to amp up their look. You could easily turn a day look into a night look with this palette. I love all three shimmer shades included. Each one looks great all over the lid with one of the matte shades in the crease. I also really love the highlighter. I like to use it both on the face as well as an inner corner highlight on my eyes. The contour shade is a bit too deep for me to use as a bronzer however it could be used on my skin as a contour if you go very light. This bronzer will work well with medium to deep skin tones. I think that all of the shadows would be universally flattering on different skin tones which is a plus. All shades are pigmented, blend beautifully, and smell like heaven. The vanilla scent is such a nice touch to this and many other Tarte palettes. All shimmer shades apply best with your finger tip. If you are new to makeup but want to try a little of everything without getting too overwhelmed; this palette is for you.
