Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share the new Pixi Pretties Collection by Pixi Beauty. I'm sure many of you have seen this PR box floating around social media. I was super surprised when I came home from work one day and saw this sitting on my kitchen table. I am so grateful that Pixi sent me this package so that I could share it with all of you! For those of you unfamiliar with this collection, Pixi collaborated with 3 different beauty influencers to bring you these multi-tasking products. The beauty creators in this collaboration are Chloe Morello, Dulce Candy, and Weylie Hoang. Keep reading to hear more about each product and my thoughts on each!
The packaging of these items is so cute. I love that it is sectioned off into three parts for each separate collaboration. I liked reading about each beauty creator and her products that she created.
I love the colourful playful packaging and how each collaboration set is a little different from one another.
Pixi + Chloe Morello
"Bring out your inner glow and add a romantic sheen to your favourite features with this must-have palette containing Chloe’s favourite hues. Super silky blush and eye shades bring that “in-love glow” to your complexion & lids. To finish off we included a trio of matte eye contour & liner shades that double as brow powders to define."
I really do think that romantic and glow are great words to describe this palette. These shadows are definitely more soft and romantic. The shadows and blushes also give your skin a nice glow. Especially the top peachy colored blush. It has a slight shimmer which looks beautiful on the skin. I have been reaching for this color the most since I gravitate more towards peach/warm blushes over pinks. The shadows are all shimmery and are buildable. I think that the lightest shades work best as lid colors and inner corner highlights. They apply best with your finger tip. The right half of all of the shades work great as both lid shades or crease shades. They aren't too shimmery for the crease. These shadows are great for a quick look on the go! I think that its great that you can use the bottom trio as both shadows, liners, or brow products. I don't wear eyeliner that often but you could definitely turn a day look into a night look by smoking out your lash line with the medium or darker browns. I had some issues with swatching the trio. However, I'll need to try them on the eyes and using them wet to see if they are more pigmented that way.

Lip Icing $14.00"This liquid lip adds a 3D glimmer. Use on bare lips or on top of lip colour for an instant glow-boost. Infused with nourishing rose hip & marula oil."
This lip icing looks so stunning in the tube. I wish it showed up this color on the lips. This is actually a sheer lip (gloss? oil? not sure how to describe it) with subtle glitter in it. The glitter doesn't feel gritty at all. Aside from wishing it had more color pay off I actually REALLY like this product. It feels SO nice on the lips and smells amazing! I have been leaving this in my bag and wearing it alot when I am running late for work and don't have time to precisely apply lipstick (which is more often than not). Or when I don't feel like reapplying lipstick. It can also be worn on top of other lip products to give an extra glow to the lips.
Pixi + Weylie Hoang
Dimensional Eye Creator $20.00
Here is what is said about this product on the Pixi Beauty site:
"Highlight and define for the ultimate dimensional eyes. Pigmented, blendable eye shades in a portable palette curated by Weylie are teamed up with a 2-in-1 black kohl pencil and liquid eyeliner duo to make this kit the perfect everyday eye essential."
Black Liner Duo
The kit includes a dual ended eye liner . One side is a black retractable kohl liner. The other side is a black felt tip liner. I barley wear liquid liner anymore but both sides of this liner are super pigmented. I really think this is a great product especially for people that can't live without their black liner! Once the felt tip wears down, you can gently pull it out with tweezers and flip it around for a brand new tip.

Let's Talk Eyes Palette
The kit also includes a small eye shadow palette with a mix of 3 mattes and 3 shimmers. This is an overall warm palette. I love orange/brown shades so this palette really called my name. The shadows are harder than other matte shadows that I own but have less fall out. This makes them more buildable. At first, I thought the mattes were okay but once I got through the top layer of the shadows they were more pigmented. The top shimmers apply best with your finger. These all blend nice and I didn't notice any creasing throughout the day. After wearing them all day, by 10 p.m. the rest of my makeup was breaking down but my shadow still looked great. I really love the looks that I've created with this palette.
Swatches of the shadows:
Cafe Con Dulce $24.00
Here is what is said about this product on the Pixi Beauty site:
"Bring out your natural beauty and enliven your complexion, lids and cheeks with this multi-use palette. Powder to cream blush, face glow, and lid hues enhance & add luminosity. Swish on these gorgeous shades to recreate Dulce’s stunning looks!"
This palette is so gorgeous! It has a mix of pink, bronze, and gold shades. I like that you can also use these shades as a highlighter for the face. All of these shadows are SUPER creamy and pigmented. They don't fade at all. I experienced a tiny bit of transfer since I have hooded lids. However, it was nothing that a sweep of a blending brush couldn't fix. I like to use my fingers to apply these shadows to my lids and a brush to apply to on my face. My favorite shades are the the more bronzey/gold ones. I'm not a fan of the pinks personally. The only down side is that you need another palette with matte shades to create a full eye look. Other than that these are fantastic shadows.
Swatches of the shadows:
Dulce's Lip Candy $24.00
Here is what is said about this product on the Pixi Beauty site:
"A universally flattering assortment of shades curated by Dulce applies easily & adheres smoothly, adding velvety rich colour to both lips and cheeks. This multi-use formula contains antioxidants and minerals to keep skin soft and hydrated."
I didn't open and use this lip palette for a couple reasons. The first is that I know I won't ever reach for a lip palette over single lip products. I also don't wear cream blush. Lastly, I don't like pink lip colors so I wouldn't use 1/3 of these colors. I decided I would rather save this and gift it to someone that will use this lip palette or save it for a giveaway. While this product isn't for me personally, I think it would be great for a makeup artist or someone that is new to makeup and/or wants to experiment with different lip colors.
Here is a look that I created using the Let's Talk Eyes Palette, the peach blush from Palette Chloette, and the Lip Icing.
Overall, I really enjoyed trying out this Pixi Pretties Collection. While not every product is for me personally, I think they are all pretty solid products. My favorite products in this collab would have to be the Weylie's eye palette, Dulce Candy's Cafe Don Dulce Palette, and Chloe's Lip Icing. A huge thanks to Pixi Beauty for sending me these products! Stay tuned for a makeup tutorial using these products coming soon!
