Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyCharm for March. For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. The theme for March was "Bae cation". I was really pumped to see the Boxycharm x Pur palette in there and couldn't wait to try it. PUR X Boxycharm Eye Shadow Palette $36.00
I was really excited to hear we were getting another PUR palette since I LOVE the Soiree Diaries one. Once I saw the color scheme I wasn't as excited. I don't love bright or super dark colors so some of the colors in this palette will go unused. Also, there are a few similar shades. In terms of quality, the shimmers are very pigmented. The mattes are good but I've used better. This palette is so/so for me. I do need to experiment with it a bit more. I think the peach, orange, and bronze shades will be pretty for the spring.

I was really excited to see these that these blushes were in this month's box. I was praying that I would get the more wearable rose/neutral shade. Unfortunately, I got the hot pink shade which I will most definitely not use. It's a shame but hopefully I can save it for a giveaway something. The packaging is very beautiful.
The Vintage Cosmetic Company Smokey Eye Makuep Brush Set $21.76
I have never heard of this brush brand before. After doing some research I think it is a European brand. I honestly didn't love these brushes. They aren't as good as other brushes that we have got in our previous boxes like the Moda Pro line and the Luxie brushes. You can never have too many brushes so I'm not too sad. I just know I won't reach for these.
South Mane Beauty Eye Gels $9.00
I was interested in trying these out. However, I must say that 25 minutes is a long time to keep any mask on. They slipped down my face a little bit but stayed on for the most part. What bothered me was that towards the end, they started to kinda feel like all the product has soaked into my skin. It felt a little uncomfortable. I didn't notice that my under eyes felt THAT much more hydrated than before. I didn't try the other two packs so I can't say if they reduce your dark circles or not. My guess would be no.
I was interested in trying this mascara. It claimed to make your lashes 200% thicker and 315% more curl. While this mascara was nice, I didn't LOVE it. It did make my lashes thicker but I don't know if it was 200% ticker. I don't think it curled my lashes any more than any other mascara.

Overall, this was not my favorite box. Most of the items were a flop for me. I did like the mascara and will use it. I also do like some of the colors in the PUR eyeshadow palette and look forward to playing around with it more. Even though I didn't love all the items it is still a great value overall. I am looking foward to April's box as we are getting one of 5 different ColourPop palettes. We are also getting a Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner Mask and either a MAC Liptensity lipstick or a Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter.
