Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow palette that I picked up a month or so ago. Sephora now has these "Weekly Wows" deals where products are 50% off. This palette was included on one of those weekly deals. Normally its $45 and I got it for $22.50! It was such an amazing deal that I couldn't pass it up. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this highlighting/contouring palette and to see swatches!
Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow HIghlight & Contour Palette $45.00
Here is what is said about this product on the Ulta site:
"Inspired by makeup artist techniques, this highlight and contour palette helps you glow like a pro using healthy ingredients. Each carefully-selected shade has a rich, cool undertone to mimic real shadow and light reflection for the most natural look. The four intense highlighting powders deliver a buildable, micro-shimmer strobing effect, and the two universal, matte contouring shades add balanced dimension in cream and powder formulas that can be worn alone or layered. Powered by nutrient-rich Amazonian clay, each shade balances skin for the best payoff possible with no harsh lines and a longwearing finish.
Skinvigorating ingredients:
- Amazonian clay: Nature's most perfect ingredient for better, longer, truer wear
- Mineral pigments: Soothe and soften skin
- Vanilla extract: A natural fragrance with rich antioxidant and anti-aging properties
- Coconut: Delivers intense moisture and is known for its antibacterial and conditioning properties
- Vitamin E: A natural preservative that also works as an emollient and antioxidant
- Shea butter: A natural emollient known to help retain skin elasticity and protect against degeneration
Dermatolgist tested."
This palette comes with 4 highlighters, 1 cream contour shade, and one powder contour shade. They are supposed to be universal shades however the powder contour might be too light for some skin tones. It also comes with two mirrors which are on the inside left and right flaps of the palette.
Here is a close up of the different shades:
The picture doesn't have the best lighting to show all the names so they are listed below.Shades:
- Lit (champagne highlight) -top left
- Strobe (pearl highlight)- top right
- Fire (bronze highlight)-middle left
- Stunner (opalescent highlight)-middle right
- Shade (cream contour)- bottom left
- Sculpt (powder contour)-bottom right

On to my thoughts:
I seriously love this palette! I originally just bought it because it was an amazing deal but after using it, I'm so glad I did! I have used all four highlighting shades and think that they all look good on my skin tone. I love to wear them on their own as well as mix the shades. My favorite shade is Fire followed by Stunner. They just look so gorgeous and aren't super chunky or glittery. When it comes to the contour shades, I gravitate towards Sculpt more just because I am more comfortable with powder contouring. I have tried Shade and think it looks beautiful. I just need some practice with contouring properly before I start using that one all the time. lol I have been reaching for the palette a TON which means that I made the right decision to purchase it. Overall, its an amazing palette and I highly recommend it!
