Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the new Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Long Wear Foundation. I was lucky enough to receive it for free from Influenster for testing and review purposes. I was also sent a full size of the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder which I am already a huge fan of. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on the foundation!

"What it is:
A 15-hour, long-wearing, oil-free, and transfer-resistant liquid foundation with a matte finish and weightless, medium-to-full coverage.
What it does:
Get lasting wear and all the coverage, without the weight. This oil-free foundation is formulated with Skin Fusion Technology to seal it into place for 15 hours of high performance, comfortable wear that’s transfer-, sweat-, humidity-, and water-resistant. Coated pigments glide on to create buildable, medium-to-full color that beautifully evens out your skintone with color that stays true and wears evenly. The matte finish is never dull, flat, or cakey, and it minimizes imperfections while silky fine powders help control oil immediately and throughout the day. Weightless texture looks, fits and feels like a second skin. It’s ideal for all skin types, especially normal to oily, and it’s available in a wide array of shades.
What it is formulated WITHOUT:

On to my thoughts:
When I first got the email about qualifying for this voxbox it had me choose a color. Since it was the middle of the summer I was unsure as to what color I would be once I got the product. I was already going to the beach and getting tan but I also had a trip to Mexico that I would be taking. I settled on 3N1 Buff which is a medium with neutral undertones. When I first got it it was a bit yellow and dark on me but ended up matching once I got a little tanner. In Mexico, I had to mix it with a much darker foundation to get it to match. That being said, I love everything about this foundation besides one thing. Let me touch on the positives first. The packaging is so sleek and I love that it has a pump top. The foundation blends beautifully with no streakiness what so ever. I agree that it provides medium to full coverage and that it does not oxidize. It feels great on the skin and doesn't feel heavy what so ever. I would consider this a demi matte and not completely matte finish. I have combo/oily skin and I did experience a little bit of oil by the afternoon. Other than that it lasted great. The one negative for me is the price. It's very expensive and way more than I would ever spend on a foundation normally. That being said, I love it so much that I plan to pick up a lighter shade to match me in the winter during one of Sephora's VIB sales so that I am not paying full price for the foundation.

On to my thoughts:
As I mentioned above, I already love this loose setting powder. I use it everyday to set my undereyes. You can definitely use it on your whole face to set the rest of you makeup and it looks great. I just personally prefer mattifying pressed powders to set the rest of my face. I have been purchasing the smaller travel sized version of this because of the price. Using it to set JUST my undereyes the travel size has lasted me more than a year!
Here are some photos with me wearing the foundation and loose powder:
