Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my BoxyCharm for August! I was super excited when the CEO Yosef announced that we would be getting a Tarte palette in our box. I am part of a group called Boxy Babes on Facebook and the CEO of BoxyCharm frequently comments on there and gives us spoilers for upcoming boxes. Aside from the makeup, one thing I REALLY like about BoxyCharm is their customer service excellence. Also that their CEO truly cares about his customers. I don't know any other company where they have their CEO interacting with customers like that. I think that is really cool. For those of you unfamiliar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box. You receive 4-5 FULL SIZED products each month. The subscription is $21.00 a month and usually has a theme. The theme for the month of August was "Beach Please". Keep reading below to hear my thoughts on each product and to check out the featured brand discount codes this month.
Royal & Langnickel Moda Pro Brush Set $36.00
I love getting brushes in this subscription! I feel like I can never have enough brushes and love trying new brands and brush types. These brushes aren't even released to the public yet which is really cool. They will be released FALL 2017.

I don't really wear lashes EVER besides Halloween. I know I won't get much use out of these but I will bring them with me to Gen Beauty NY and possibly wear them there. Lashes just don't really excite me since they are such a pain to put on and I just prefer mascara. In my opinion, they are good for special occasions for the average person.
Aloette Face Paint Lip and Cheek Tint in Blooming Berry $35.00
I don't love tint products in general but even more I don't like applying products with my fingers. This is too much of a pain for me and I prefer lipstick and powder blush. I will save this for a giveaway or pass it along to a friend.
I have a million black liners so I won't be keeping this for myself either.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Vol. II $36.00
This was the star of the show this month. I love Tarte products so much. I also love neutral palettes so this is right up my alley. The packaging is absolutely beautiful and feels so luxe. I like that it has a mix of mattes and shimmers to create a complete look. It has a really nice mirror on the inside which is great for traveling.

Overall, This was a great month but not my absolute favorite. I really wish I got the liquid lipstick that some other people got instead of the lip and cheek tint. However, I really love that we got a Tarte palette and brush set. The Tarte palette alone costs more than the entire box which is fantastic. I will definitely get use out of the palette and brushes. Yosef already gave us a spoiler for our September box. Next month we will be getting the PUR Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette! He also told us that we will be seeing the following brands from now till through the end of 2017: MAC, Becca, CoverFX, dr.brandt, and more Tarte! I am SO excited and SO HAPPY that I subscribed to this box last October. It has been such am amazing subscription and I HIGHLY recommend it!
