Hey Guys,
A few months ago I purchased the Tarte Maneater palette which I reviewed HERE. I mentioned that when I was in the store, I also swatched the Tarte Don't Quit Your Day Dream Palette. I had a hard time making a decision but chose to get the Maneater palette. Even though I love that palette, I kept thinking about the other palette. My birthday was in May and I knew I was going to get a $10.00 coupon. Once I got it, I decided to buy the other palette as well. I have been using this palette for about a month now. Keep reading to hear my thoughts!
Here is what is said about this palette on the ULTA site:
"If you love warm-toned shadows, this is your perfect everyday palette. The super portable palette holds seven creaseless, blendable eyeshadows in soft, pigmented nude, brown and bronze shades. The mixed matte and microshimmer shadows come paired with a full size eye and cheek highlighter to create a soft, white gold strobe on the brow and cheek bones and highlight the inner corners of the eyes. Powered by Amazonian clay, each buildable, longwearing shade balances skin so pigment stays put - all in one palette with mirror so you can touch-up and go."

On to my thoughts:
I really love this palette and think it is great for an everyday look. The colors have great pigmentation and I love all the warm tones. They blend beautifully and last throughout the day but do need to be touched up if you plan to go out that night. There is a ton of fall out in the pan and a bit on the face which I experience with most of my Tarte palettes. I don't feel that it is as versatile as the Tarte Maneater Palette and I wish it included a matte bone shade. Instead, it offers two micro shimmer cream/champagne shades. It isn't a huge deal as the color Rock On isn't super shimmery. I use that color for my brow bone. My favorite color is Runway. I love to use this color in my crease. I think this is a beautiful bronzey color for the summer and can't wait to see how the colors show up on my skin when I am tan. Do I think people may have some of these shades in their current collection? Of course. But I do think you can create a whole look with this one palette which I love. I also think this would be a great little palette for traveling. Overall, I do recommend this palette. I like it better than the Tartlette in Bloom but not as much as the Maneater palette.
