Today I am going to share my thoughts on some of Matrix's new Style Link Mineral Line that was sent to me to try out. This whole line focuses around minerals used in these products to give amazing textures. Keep reading to hear about each product!

On to my thoughts:
For those of you that know me, I wash my hair every other day. That means that dry shampoo is my best friend! I don't have super thick hair so my hair gets oily only after a day or so after washing. I have been VERY picky with dry shampoos and the only one I have liked prior to trying this one is the Batiste Dry Shampoo. I tried this Matrix dry shampoo out and I REALLY like it! One big thing that sets is apart from the Batiste one is that it doesn't leave ANY white cast at all. When using Batiste my hair gets very white where I spray it and I have to rub and blend it out. This one leaves none of that. It applies completely clear. This smells really nice too! Its not overly fragrant like a strong perfume which I like. It smells nice without being too much. Lastly, it gives great volume! It works very well at absorbing oil and refreshing my hair.

Styling Tips:
- Transition from wearing your hair down to an updo by applying all over dry hair and forming the perfect top knot with shape and texture
- Quickly deconstruct your look by applying to dry hair for instant texture
- Revive your curls by applying to damp hair then air dry or blow dry with a diffuser
On to my thoughts:
This is a really good texture foam for scrunching your hair too! I have used this with the Rough Me Up Slat Infused Spray to create a beach waves/scrunched look. It gives great texture and doesn't make your hair feel crunchy.

On to my thoughts:
This is my favorite product in the bunch! I love beach waves for the summer and this is by far the best product that I have tried to achieve this look! It doesn't make your hair hard, sticky, crunchy, or just gross like other salt sprays. It gives texture and body but with a soft natural look. To create these beach waves I apply a mousse or texture foam and then spray this salt spray. Next, I let it air dry for a bit and finish off blow drying with a diffuser. Lastly, I spray some more of this salt spray and lightly tousle.

Styling tips:
- Use this before braiding your hair for better control and hold
- Apply to wet hair, comb evenly, and diffuse for volume, texture and hold
- Apply to hair in small sections twisting each section while applying. Blow dry hair then untiwst for a extra body and texture
On to my thoughts:
I haven't used this product for myself but plan to try the tips above. I will post pictures on my Instagram if my hair comes out good! I have used this to style my boyfriend's hair. I have put a dime size in his wet hair then shaped to my desired style while blow drying it. This product works very well to give his hair volume and stays in place all night! I really liked using it on him and can't wait to try it out on my own hair!

Overall, this is an AMAZING product line by Matrix. I think the line works very well for both men and women. I have been loving trying the products out on myself and my boyfriend. You can create numerous styles and all products give amazing texture!
