Hey Guys,
I'm here to share my thoughts on the Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Mousse. For those of you unfamiliar with Cocoa Brown, it is a line of self tanning products created by Marissa Carter. The line carries everything from self tanners, to body moisturizers, and body scrubs. I got the opportunity to try out the self tanning mouse. Keep reading to hear my thoughts!
I was sent a bottle of the one hour tanning mousse and the self tan applicator mitt.

Onto my thoughts:
I was really excited to try out this tanning mouse since I was looking pretty pastey. The mouse applied very evenly and you could tell right away where you applied it. It gave you instant color. I kept the tanning mousse on for 3 hours to try to develop the darkest color. You could definitely see my skin darkening as time went on. I did find the tanning mousse a little bit sticky the longer I kept it on. I was pretty dark once the three hours were up. When I got in the shower after the three hours, alot of the color washed off. I still had an obvious tan to my skin but nothing nearly as dramatic as how I looked with the mousse still on my skin. My tan looked even and not orange at all. The product bottle said that the product was gentle enough to use on your face so I put the tanning mousse on my face as well. It added a nice hit of color to my face.
Cocoa Brown recently came out with a 1 Hour Tan Mousse in Dark. I think that if I had the choice, I probably would prefer that over the original in the hopes of getting an even darker tan. I think that the original is best for fair to light skin tones. I consider myself light skin toned. As you will see in the pictures below, there is definitely a color difference, I personally would just like an even darker tan which isn't for everyone.
Here are before pictures before I used Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Mousse:
Here is a picture of me with the tanning mouse still on my face:
Here are pictures after I showered and washed off the Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Mousse:
Overall, I liked the Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Mousse. I would recommend it to fair skin tones or light skinned people that only want a light tan. I would suggest trying the 1 Hour Tan Mousse in Dark for medium skin tones or light skinned people that want a more dramatic tan.
