Makeup Purge #2

Hi Ladies!
I'm back with another edition of Makeup Purge! I did this purge right before the holidays since I hadn't done one for quite some time. I asked for a bunch of makeup for Christmas and knew that I had to make room for it :)

Lets jump right into it!

Nyx Love in Paris Madeleines and Macaroons Palette-This wasn't a terrible palette but its not the most pigmented. The palette does have some standout colors. I don't ever find myself reaching for it so I will pass it on to some that will actually use it. You can check out my review on this palette and the Love in Rio palette HERE.

Nyx Love in Rio Life is a Cha Cha Palette- This is another palette that was just ok. The pigmentation was ok but it did crease a bit more than I liked.

Nyx Baked Shadow in Moonshine and Lavish- I got these as an Ipsy Me deal. You can read my review of these shadows, a Nyx Lipstick and Baked Blush HERE. The pigmentation of these shadows was disappointing. I tried scraping the top layer of the shadow off and didn't think it was much better.

Pop Beauty Bright Up Your Life Eyeshadow Trio in Smokin' Hot- I recieved this palette in an Ipsy Glam Bag. You can read the review HERE. I thought that the pigmentation on these was good. These just aren't colors that I would wear often at all. I have all of these colors in other palettes so I figured I would pass this on to someone that would wear these colors often.

Maybelline Master Hi-Light Blush in Nude- You can read my review of this blush and the Bouncy blush HERE. I actually think this is a pretty blush it is just a little lighter than most blushes that I use. I will pass this on to my sister or friend that is lighter than me.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin-This was way too light. It barley showed up on me at all. I was disappointed by this blush and only used it once for review.

Nyx Baked Blush in Ignite/Passion- This is the blush that I recieved in the Ipsy Me offer. It just isn't as pigmented as I like. When I scraped off the top layer, it did become more pigmented. I just have a million other blushes that I would reach for over this. I know this will be a blush that someone that I know will love.

Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Golden Copper-This was one of my favorite blushes for years. I have used it ALOT over the years. I got this in college so it is very old. I will most likely just toss this.

e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer in Brightening Lavender- You can see my review of this primer and other e.l.f. products HERE. I don't really love any primers and don't ever see a huge difference. I haven't used this in a while so I figured I'll just pass it on.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer-I used this a couple times but the main primer that I use is the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer.

Nyx Pore Filler- This filler helped a little but it doesn't work as well as the Smashbox Pore Primer. 

Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer-This eye primer is ok but I prefer the Urban Decay Primer Potion and the MAC Paint Pots.

Lorac POREfection Mattifying Face Primer-The is another primer that I just don't really want. I don't really have anything bad to say about it.

Manna Kadar Sheer Glo Shimmer Lotion-I got this in an Ipsy Glam Bag. Its pretty but I just don't like liquid highlighters. You can see my review HERE.

e.l.f. Tone Correcting Powder in Warm-I think this worked but not 100% sure? Its just another thing to layer on my face. I don't think its a necessity.

Elizabeth Mott Tints and Sass Lip and Cheek Stain- I got this in an Ipsy Glam Bag. Its a pretty tint I'm just not a huge fan of lip and cheek tints. You can read my review HERE.

Nyx Butter Lipstick in Sugar Wafer-This lipstick was a disappointment to me. I LOVE Nyx Butter Lipsticks, the color was just way too light for my liking. 

Sexy Mother Pucker Extreme Plump in Very Berry-I got this in the international box swap that I did. I am not a fan of plumpers and this stung so bad! I have a friend that will love this though. You and check out my box swap and review of this HERE.

Maybelline Pumped Up Colossal Volum'Express Mascara- I did not like this mascara at all. I don't think it did much for my lashes at all. End of story.

e.l.f. Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara-This mascara gives a definition but not enough drama for me personally.

Nyx Super Fat Eye Marker-I was going to get rid of this but as I am writing this post, I decided I'm going to keep it. I don't use it often but it will be a good backup liner to my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.

Nyx The Curve Liner- You can see my review of this HERE. I liked this liner at first but with use, the tip gets faded and the black isn't as black anymore.

Bare Minerals Well Rested Face and Eye Brightener-This was an impulse buy. I don't really know why I bought it and I don't use it at all. I think this would be a great product for someone else, just not me.

Bare Minerals 5 in 1 Cream Shadow in Divine Wine-I got this in an Ipsy Glam Bag. I don't like the color at all. It reminds me of mud. You can see my review HERE.

Tresemee Fresh Start Dry Shampoo-I did not like this dry shampoo. I don't think it worked well at all and it left a white cast all on your hair. This doesn't even begin to compare to Batiste.

PINK Fruity and Bright All Over Body Mist-This smells really good I just have SO MANY perfumes that I never reach for this.

As you can see, I am pass on a TON of items. I feel pretty good about that. There are way more things that I could have gotten rid of but this is a good start. Just because alot of these items didn't work for me, doesn't mean that they won't work for other people.
