CambridgeSide Galleria Glamour Swap*

Hi Ladies!

Today I am going to share a fun holiday blogger event that I recently went to at the CambridgeSide Galleria in Cambridge, MA. It was hosted by Blog and Tweet Boston and the team at the CambridgeSide Galleria. The event was a chance for us to check out the latest holiday gift ideas, mingle with fellow bloggers, and snack on some food and drinks from some great restaurants. We were also given the opportunity to participate in a Glamour Swap!

Next are some yummy treats compliments of  California Pizza Kitchen!

Not pictured was the yummy desert which was a Salted Caramel Pudding! It was SO GOOD!

We were also given the opportunity to check out some great gift ideas for everyone on your list!

After checking out all the food and gifts, we all participated in a Glamour Swap (Yankee Swap)!

For those of you unfamiliar with a Yankee Swap, it is a popular holiday game. You put numbers into a bowl (after counting the number of people participating in the swap) and each person picks a number. The number of gifts provided in the swap should be the same as the number of people in the swap. Each participant usually buys a gift but these gifts were provided for us by the CambridgeSide Galleria merchants. Each person goes in numerical order and opens a gift, they are given the option of keeping the gift or swapping with someone before them. Once you start the swap, the person who has #1 gets to pick the first gift and opens it in front of everyone. They also get to pick from everyone's gift at the end of the swap.  I have played this game many many times during Christmas over the years and its really fun. It can also get super competitive!

When it was my turn to pick a gift,  I got an Ann Taylor jewel hat and scarf set (like pictured above) but my gift was taken from me!

Luckily this cute Rampage cross body purse was given to me in exchange! I think it was meant to be since it matched my shoes that I had on perfectly!

At the end of the event, we were given a swag bag full of goodies!

Included in the bag was a voucher for a free pair of underwear from Plammie Activewear which is a new store offering the newest sportswear from Brazil and Columbia! You can see pictures from my last visit to Plammie HERE.
