Hi Ladies!
I'm back to share with you my experience at my very first fashion show! Just a warning, this is a very picture heavy post. The fashion show took place during Boston Fashion Week. I'm sure most of you have read my previous post about The 7th Annual Emerging Trends Runway Show hosted by Synergy Events. If not, you can learn more about the show and what it entails HERE.
I was given the opportunity to cover the show as "press" which was really cool. Having a press ticket allowed me to interview the designers and check out their collections the day before the show. You can check that post out HERE.
I was also able to get into the show early and check everything out before the doors opened to the public.
When you first arrive at the show, you are able to walk the Red Carpet and get your picture taken striking a pose!
Since El and I got there early we had plenty of seats to choose from. We were allowed to sit in the second and third rows. We chose the end seats in the second row towards the end of the runway.
There were some vendors at the show. A few of the designers in the show had tables set up where you could purchase their items.
Designer Taylor Lane had her corsets on display and for sale.
There were also some sponsored snacks and energy drinks.
Designer Joyce Penas Pilansky also had a table set up with jewelry, accessories, and clothing items for purchase.
Onto the show...
There was a roped off area infront of the stage where photographers got to stand and take pictures. I'm sure I would have been able to stand in that area however it was pretty packed. We decided to sit and enjoy the show. The down side to sitting was that we had heads in a ton of our pictures since we were in the second row. Also, the bright lights really affected our pictures. Lastly, we had a lot of side profile pics since we weren't directly infront of the runway. Regardless, we took plenty of pictures! Below are the best ones that I captured.

Overall, I had a great time at the show. I really enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful collections from each of the designers. The best part was that each designer had their own style and was totally different from one another. It was like a bunch of mini shows in one.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my experience! Thanks to Synergy Events Boston for allowing me to cover this event! I can't wait to attend Boston Fashion Week next year!Have you ever been to a fashion show? Post your comments below!
