Since I have been on a no buy this February, I have had the opportunity to really get to enjoy and play around with the stuff that I got for Christmas. I also got to try out products that I purchased in January and become reacquainted with some old favorites.
Here are my favorites for February:
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
Recently, I have fallen back in love with my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. I stopped using it in the Fall because the bristles got messed up. Since then, I have been trying a bunch of different black liquid liners from a several different brands. Thought I have found some that I really like, I still love this one the most. I decided to use it again this month since I am on a no buy. Although the bristles are still messed up and make it a little hard to get a clean line, the black is so rich and pigmented. It is long lasting and the black doesn't fade. Once this month is over, I will most likely go and pick up a new Tattoo Liner and be more careful when closing the cap.
Nyx Butter Lipstick in Pops
In January, I purchased a ton of Nyx products. It has quickly become one of my favorite lower end makeup brands. I purchased 3 butter lipsticks on three separate occasions. Last month, Hunk was one of my monthly favorites. This month, Pops is on my list. I ordered this at the end of January and got it in mid February. I have been reaching for this color quite often. I love the pink/brown nude color and I feel like it looks great with a ton of looks. I am happy with the pigmentation and it feels very moisturizing on my lips. I would say this is one of my go to colors for February.
Nyx Blush in Terra Cotta
I have heard a ton of great things about Nyx blushes and ordered this in January. This color is so beautiful and looks great on. I have been using this frequently.
Nyx HD Photogenic Concealer in Beige
I would have to say this is one of the best concealers I have ever used. It covers very well and is super affordable. The concealer is not heavy and doesn't look cakey. I will repurchase this and definitely recommend it.
Lorac Pro Palette
I have had my eyes on this palette for months. I was very lucky to get this from my husband for Valentine's Day. This is such a versatile palette. The colors are creamy and pigmented. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite palettes.
Real Techniques Brushes
I also received these brushes for Valentine's Day and have been using them ever since. I can definitely see why so many people love these brushes. They are soft and work very well.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Flex Mascara
I have tried numerous mascaras over the years and still haven't found one that I absolutely love. Previously, I have been using MAC Zoomlash. I decided to try others out and after 3 or 4 duds, I found this one. I really like this mascara and will most likely repurchase it.It gives great volume and drama without clumping. I do want to try the original Scandaleyes mascara in the orange tube.
